During my recent stay at Bally's Vicksburg, convenience was a top priority, especially since I often travel for work. Regrettably, the locked door connecting the casino to the hotel left me frustrated late at night, forcing a trek around the building that disrupted the ease I sought. The hotel did boast clean rooms equipped with modern amenities like refrigerators and microwaves, which I found quite practical for busy days. Although the Mississippi River was tantalizingly close, restrictions prevented us from enjoying its charms directly. Nonetheless, the appeal of the Southern-style cuisine at the Southern Bites food truck was a delightful surprise during our stay, offering a genuine taste of local flavors that captivated both my palate and my traveling companions. The genuine friendliness of the staff added a personal touch to our experience, making our time there more enjoyable despite the aforementioned inconveniences. While there are aspects that could improve, Bally's Vicksburg offers a solid base for anyone exploring the Vicksburg area, particularly with its array of activities and proximity to local attractions.
